This bathroom is a great example of how you can take a simple 5X9 bathroom with a tub/shower combo and turn it into something extraordinary. On our initial visit to our client’s home we arrived to discover demolition had already taken place. Initially our clients had explored the idea of remodeling the guest bathroom themselves but were overwhelmed quickly upon completion of the demolition. Our design team went to work on the small bathroom with these goals in mind – maximize the space, large walk-in shower, and of course aesthetically pleasing.
We started by rerouting the existing plumbing setup for a tub/shower combo to accomodate a walk-in shower. We selected a xxxx tile for the floor and walls accented with a xxxxxx pencil tile border. Our client also found a beautiful floral patterned tile that she asked us to use somewhere in the bathroom. Our designer, decided to use it as a focal point as you entered the guest bath.
Walnut stained Cabinetry was utilized for the vanity along with butterfly verde granite for the top.
Both our design team and our clients were happy with the final product.
The goal was to bring the outside in with all the rich green tones of the element of Nature. We accomplished this with variations of color, textures, and a beautiful center medallion used to create the focal point in the small shower space.
