Lone Star Remodeling And Renovations began working on this garage addition in Helotes, TX a few weeks ago. Our client needed more room and wanted to use an existing garage bay for an entertainment area. This garage addition will match the existing rock work, trim, paint, and architecture of the existing home. We are still far from finishing but the addition is really starting to take shape. We removed a portion of the driveway to allow the new bathroom drain to hook into the existing sewer system.

After the plumbing passed inspection, we installed the forms for the new driveway leading to the garage addition.

New driveway poured and cured over night.

Framing started at 9:00 AM and our framing crew had the walls up by 11:30 AM.

Framing is near complete by the end of the day. Roofing, moisture barrier, and siding will start the following day.

Roofing shingles are installed along with tyvek moisture barrier.

This is a look inside the garage. There will be a large cased opening into the other garage.
